Objective: Put ICE in your phone

ICE stands for ‘In Case of Emergency’. By putting one or more ICE contacts in your mobile phone, you will make it easy for the Emergency Services to contact someone close to you, should you be involved in an accident or an emergency and unable to make that call for yourself.

Decide which people (max 3) should be contacted by the Emergency Services if you are involved in some form of accident. Typically, these should be next of kin, family or a close friend.

Enter their contact details in your mobile phone preceded by the word ICE, e.g.

ICE 1 – Sam Smith [phone number]

ICE 2 – Janet & John Jones [ phone number]
